“The Bidlaker” was a colour-illustrated journal that appeared through 2015 and 2016.
It was named after Frederick Thomas Bidlake, the founder of time-trialling in the 1890s.
Contents include: in-depth interviews with great British riders; history of bike design; reports of great races of the past; book reviews; cycling photo-journalism, fully illustrated; cycling cartoons; social history of cycling; travel articles; extracts reprinted from the legendary magazine “Coureur: Sporting Cyclist”.
Complete set of ten issues, totalling almost 700 pages of cycling history.
“The Bidlaker” was a journal of cycling history that was published bi-monthly through 2015 and 2016. It was named for Frederick Thomas Bidlake, who is famous as the founder of time-trialling in 1890s. It was highly illustrated, and was issued both on-line and in paper copies.
